| Bingo | Admission Clerk– 1 Full Time, 1 Part Time -Sell bingo admission paper and handsets to customers using a computerized point of sale system. -Excellent communication skills, computer skills, and proficiency in using 10 key adding machine required. -Ability to work in a faced paced environment. Experience in working with public under stressful conditions helpful; or an equivalent combination or education and/or work experience. -Must have thorough knowledge of the principles and procedures of the games being played and the general house rules of Bingo and the Casino. -High school diploma or GED required and three to six (3-6) months minimum related experience and/or training in Bingo.-Must possess basic math skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities, balance cash drawer. - Must be able to stand for long periods of time, speak clearly and have excellent customer service skills. |
| Food & Beverage | Bartender – 1 Full Time Ensure customer satisfaction in assigned area. Promptly provide complimentary soda and coffee to floor servers. Must obtain T.I.P.S. certification and attend update classes as required. Must obtain Food Handler’s certification and attend update classes as needed. Follow proper procedures and recipes when preparing drinks. Maintain cash handling procedures. Must adhere to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures. Keep bar area clean, sanitary and organized. Fills out daily inventory and submits it to the food and beverage clerk to be filled. All bartenders are responsible for maintaining kegs. Assists with keeping storage areas clean and organized. Ensure outstanding customer service, focusing on 100% guest satisfaction. Any additional, reasonable duties assigned to by the Food and Beverage Manager. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in a constantly changing environment. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Bi-lingual a plus. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to tolerate second hand cigarette smoke. High School Diploma and two years cash handling and POS experience. Excellent communication skills. |
| Marketing | Promotions Manager – 1 Full Time responsible for planning and implementing all of the property’s promotions. Plan, produce and maintain an on-going schedule of promotions. Develop theme, format and budget specifications for specific promotions. Develop programs for new promotions, review the results of past promotions and events and make recommendations for the feasibility of repeating or modifying those promotions. Act as master of ceremonies as needed. Oversee expenditures to ensure budget requirements are met. Coordinate all décor requirements for promotions. Communicate all events information to operating departments to ensure timely coordination of all promotions. Determine staffing needs and work schedules necessary to implement promotions. Works with the Director of Marketing to ensure public awareness of events. Develops contacts at area attractions to keep abreast of events in the market. Maintains awareness of changes in the marketplace that may impact the nature of promotions planned at the Seminole Casino Hollywood. Establishes an effective working relationship with all operating departments. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must be organized and detail oriented. Other duties as assigned. |
| Slots | TAD Lead Technician – 1 Full Time -Provide technical direction and guidance to TAD Technicians in installing, upgrading, converting, servicing, adjusting and repairing of TAD machines. Monitor the TAD technicians in the performance of scheduled machine maintenance. -Diagnose causes of malfunctions and failures and take appropriate action in within specified period of times. -Performs all repairs and service request requirements necessary for TAD machines. -Ability to perform minor repairs to assemblies at the work bench using basic test equipment and test fixtures following proper procedures. -Communicates to TAD Technicians on other shifts through entries in the Technicians Communication Log concerning major repairs done during his shift, and the status of on-going projects. - Maintain and comply with safety, gaming and security standards. -Ability to work within deadlines and handle multiple priorities under pressure. -Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. -Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. -Excellent technical skills; ability to problem solve; ability to work independently; good people skills, and good communication skills. -Knowledge of programs, electrical breakdown procedures. -Must understand machine to machine communication. -High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years course work in electronics; or certification from a trade or technical school with an emphasis on electronics; or minimum 3 years experience servicing electronic equipment in a casino environment. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision and depth perception. Position requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping, crouching and the ability to lift and carry weights up to 50lbs. -Must be able to be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. |
